1.   Entry to the Commando Challenge   

1.1   Entry to the Commando Challenge is currently via hard copy entry form which can be either downloaded or requested from the Organisers.   On this Entry Form will be explained the process for applying for a place at the event, including details of attaching a stamp addressed envelope with the approriate amount of Royal Mail postage.    The Entry Form will also contain details of the cost of entry and cost of tshirts and how to make payment.  

2.   Postage

2.1   Details of the cost of postage will change from time to time as decided by Royal Mail and the details placed on the  relevant downloadable Entry Form.  The Team captain is responsible for sending the Entry Form to the Organisers using the correct amount of postage and including the sae and postage for team confirmation to be send back.

2.2   From time to time Team Captains do not plae enough postage on their applications which results in the Royal Mail either not delivering the envelope or demanding additional postage from the Organisers before they will deliver the envelope.   The Organisers are not responsible for this postage and do not pay the Royal Mail.   This will often result in the envelope being returned to the Royal mail sorting office and sitting their for two or more weeks.   This can result in some teams missing the opportunity to gain entry to teh Commando Challenge.   ADVICE - all Team Captains are advised to post their applications via a Post Office to ensure correct postage is applied.

2.3  The Organisers will do their best to ensure applications for entry to the Commando Challenge are actioned and returned within 5 working days - subject to the actions of the Royal Mail or other unforeseen circumstances.  Any delay to this will be notified on the website.

3.   Cash in the post

3.1   Participants int eh Commando Challenge are strongly advised not to send cash via the Royal Mail, but to instead use either Cheques or Postal Orders.   The Organisers are not responsible for non-receipt of applications - posting an envelope does not prove delivery.
