HOW TO ENTER
1. Find a team of 3 or more people, over 16 years of age and in general good health.
(The minimum number of runners in your team must be 3, but there is no upper limit. However, be aware, the more people in your team the slower you will run and the longer it will take you to negotiate the course. On the up-side, you will raise loads more money for charity).
2. Once you have your team sorted, DOWNLOAD the entry form and send it off, with your entry fee and money for any souveneer tshirts you may want to order.
3. The Organisers, by return, will send you a full information pack for each runner you have nominated -including a Safety Brief, a Disclaimer, a Sponsor Form and a map to get you to Bicton Arena.
The maximum numbers of people allowed to enter the Challenge weekend is 4,000
7 Mile 'Marine' Event
HAVE YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES?
The 7 mile MARINE challenge is a world apart from the FUN challenge - not only do you have to do the whole of the 3 mile event, but also complete a pair of 2 mile road runs.

From the start line in Bicton Arena you go cross country for about 1,200 meters before joining the road for the first of your 2 mile runs - largely uphill! At the end of this run you immediately go off-road and in to the 3 mile cross country course with exactly the same obstacles as the Saturday teams. Once you have done this you return to Bicton Arena on the road which is the second 2 mile road run.

Over the last 16 years quite literally thousands of teams have entered the Commando Challenge just to complete the famous 'water tunnel' and to say "I did it".
But, there is one thing which all teams who enter this event have in common and that is a superb sense of humour - and every ounce of it will be needed if the Royal Marines have their way.
