HOW TO ENTER

1. Find a team of 3 or more people, over 16 years of age and in general good health.

(The minimum number of runners in your team must be 3, but there is no upper limit. However, be aware, the more people in your team the slower you will run and the longer it will take you to negotiate the course. On the up-side, you will raise loads more money for charity).

2. Once you have your team sorted, DOWNLOAD the entry form and send it off, with your entry fee and money for any souveneer tshirts you may want to order.

3. The Organisers, by return, will send you a full information pack for each runner you have nominated -including a Safety Brief, a Disclaimer, a Sponsor Form and a map to get you to Bicton Arena.

The maximum numbers of people allowed to enter the Challenge weekend is 4,000

3 Mile 'Fun' Event

SO WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

The 3 mile FUN challenge is just that - GREAT FUN

Bear with me for a minute or two, close your eye's and imagine... it's October, it's raining, it's cold, it might even be snowing, you drag yourself out of bed at 5am, you put on the oldest clothes and boots you can lay your hands on, you travel all the way to Devon, you run 3 miles and finally you get soaking wet and covered from head to toe in brownie/orangie coloured mud - and all in the name of charity? GET THE PICTURE SO FAR?

So anyway, what else would you be doing in October?

Over the last 16 years the 3 mile FUN event has attracted all manner of Teams, from Bank Clerks to Housewives, from Teams of Doctors and Nurses to a Team of runners dressed as the 'Village People' singing YMCA!

The team below are from the National Blood service - this picture was OBVIOUSLY taken before they did the course!

But, one thing above all else that these people had in common, was a great sense of humour, a desire to get wet/cold/covered in mud and the willingness to raise loads of money for charity - along with similar minded lunatics.
